I think I have a new comfort character, Christiane's really relaxing to draw. She's really sympathetic- ironic, considering she inspired the look of Michael Myers.
Still using the 1950's 64 color palette. I know "Eyes Without A Face" is a black and white movie, but I really wanted to lean into moody/atmospheric lighting. Maybe I shoulda done this in my traditional style? I think the only one I'm not totally happy with is the red panel in the bottom left. It came out looking more pink, and the momentum's not really there. Same thing with the green one; it's supposed to look shocking and creepy, but it just looks kinda awkward. I am however absolutely happy with the top two, they're exactly how I wanted them to look.
This one doesn't have my usual stamp on it, there's not really space for one without making the margins really big. I really like the watermark I designed, but it looks really weird and out-of-place on a lot of drawings. There's also the fact that every website crops images differently, so I gotta make sure the drawing and my signature don't get cropped out, but also not make the image impossible to see- it's a whole thing.
