Transformers 7 Transit - G1 Version

(McFeely voice): "Unfortunately, being a Bandai toy meant that Transit barely showed up in the cartoon. He really came into his own in the world of Marvel comics, famously taking on Optimus Prime in the streets of New York."

So I saw Rise of the Beasts. You know who's my favorite character in the movie? Transit! His scene's so cool in-fact, they're featuring it again on the DVD, but it's under "Deleted Scenes", for some reason? I dunno.

I like to think he'd be one of those characters like some of the Wreckers or the deluxe Insecticons, where he'd be snubbed from the cartoon but get loads to do in the comics. (It's also good practice for some more Marvel G1 stuff I'm doing later). His conversion took me a minute. His movie design does that crap thing, where it's really skinny and made mostly of wheels and headlights so, even though he turns into a vehicle that's 70% WINDOWS, NONE of 'em are visible in 'bot mode, but I actually came up w/ a surprisingly simple work-around.

And thus, my saga of G1 versions of semi-obscure live-action characters draws to a close. I might do more later, but I mainly wanted to do one per movie, and focus on bots that don't have G1 versions, so until another movie comes out- I'm done.

A messy sketch that shows how Transit's conversion is supposed to work.
