Lay Off Some Steam

I'm so torn on this one. The shading's super scratchy, the puddle doesn't really look like water, and I still don't know how to do steam really. At the same time, I'm really happy with the glow and the shine on the metal, and the lighting is exactly what I was going for. This is one of those ones where I wanted to do another draft, but I was already basically done with it and didn't want to start over from scratch. It's one of those ones where it's hard to tell what's happening until you look real close at it. I'm gonna say I'm happy with it, but I could do better.

I might start doing more digital and franchise art. I try to keep franchise specific art to the subreddits, most of it's digital and in a different art style, and I don't wanna get lazy or pigeonhole myself into one topic. At the same time, it's loads easier to draw and come up with ideas, and it'd probably bring in more eyes. I dunno, I'll think about it.
