G1 Designs, Live-action Colors

Exactly what it says on the tin. I took some Generation 1 Transformers and fitted them in the colors of their Live-action movie counterparts. I think the ones I were most interested in were the top row, but I'm happy with all of 'em. I only did these characters for a few reasons. Some bots don't have different colors in the movies (Optimus, Bumblebee, Hound), some are too similar to bots I already did (Skids, Crosshairs, Onslaught),

I REALLY like how Jetfire came out. I like to think he'd start out in these colors as a Decepticon, and then switch to his G1 look when he joins the Autobots.

Ratchet's the first one I did. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I never got the hate for the highlighter green. I wanted to see how that'd look on a G1 Ratchet, and then just kept making more.

Drift's one of those characters I'm not I'm super attached too, but the fans seem to go ga-ga for for some reason. That being said, I think his portrait's the best one I did.

Mirage is also one I'm pretty proud of, but he's just not that interesting in these colors. Actually, they make him look distractingly like Cliffjumper.

Arcee was also a bit of a pain, since both her G1 and Movie versions are almost the same color- but pink and magenta are NOT the same! I sorta lucked out with the Cybertronian tattoos adding some visual interest.

I kinda wish Hot Rod used different colors more. Again, never got the hate for his live-action colors. Like, Hot Rod's orange in the cartoon, all it's missing is a flame decal.

Jazz was one of the hardest ones to do. He's got a bit of copper on him, but otherwise he's just silver. I don't hate the movie designs, but making like half the cast these colors is totally lame.

And last is Elita-1! She's probably one of my favorite characters to draw. If Hasbro doesn't want to use the pink, I think the purple and white are a fair shout, especially with the tattoos.
