I think the scanner worked better on this one because of the darker colors. I always have to turn the contrast down on 'em because it just annihilates the lighter colors, but this one's mostly mid to dark shades. The darkness also remind me a lot of my older work from last year, which was mostly set at night or in dark rooms. I've been trying to vary 'em this year, because I'm not trying as hard to be creepy, and I'm trying not to use my Sharpies as a crutch like some of last year's ones.
